Happy New Year Everyone!!!
I hope everyone's holidays were wonderful and full of enjoyment. I can't believe it is already 2014. Last January I had the idea to start my own event planning business and here I am a year later with many events lined up. I've been slowly getting everything together to start my business and I am fully operational now. I'm so excited to get started in all of the new adventures that will come my way.
The events I have coming up this year are really exciting. I'm starting off this January with a car rally to raise money for the American Lung Association. We are going to start the rally of cars on the Southside of Jacksonville and drive up to the Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island for brunch. I can't wait to see what kind of cars will be featured.
In February, I have a fantastic birthday party for a friend planned. The planning is still in the works, so I can't give you any details on this event yet.
In March, I have 3 events! The first event is an open house for Meow Town in Augusta, Ga. http://meowtown.net/ This is the same location that I planned and coordinated the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for. The second event is for a very special person, who is truly inspirational. We are going to have an I Survived Cancer Party.
The last event in March, I'm helping plan and organize with a great group of people. I am part of a brand new non-profit foundation called Florida Pancreas Cancer Coalition www.flpcc.org Our goal is to raise Local Money for Local Research. We are hosting a golf tournament called Culhane's Celtic Open on March 28th in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. I am on the social media committee as well as the small gifts and in kind donations committee. So far, we are off to a great start. If you would like to help or volunteer in any way, please let me know.
That's all for now. I will keep you all updated as more events are booked. I'll make sure to post pictures as well.
Talk to you all soon,
Anna
